Report 25th July 2010 Louis charity motocross
For the eighth year Mick White family and friends organised the “Louis” adult motocross Charity event which raises money for the meningitis research foundation.
This year’s event couldn’t have wished for better weather and track conditions.
For the first time in 3 years the track needed to be watered!
A smaller entry than usual treated the huge amount of spectators to some of the best racing seen at Wilberfoss, due to its recent re vamp and superb track preparation.
The rider of the day award sponsored by Vassar Garage of Thirsk North Yorkshire was given to Glen Taylor Jones riding a Hus 125cc in the popular Vets Class
The venue and presentation of this popular event would not have looked out of place at a major Mx event.
Special thanks to all riders and helpers who supported this event; when all sponsorship has been received we hope to have raised £1000.00 for the meningitis research foundation.
